What a gr8 idea for a hotel! Excellent value, very comfortable and all I want in a hotel. Comfy big bed, huge TV, free movies, wireless internet, seductive lighting, cool separate shower room, a bar next door and very central - there should be cosy 'ships cabin' hotels like this everywhere world-wide, especially if the price is the same. Why do u need a window if ur in the middle of Birmingham??
Room is very small but that's part of the appeal - gr8 for one but a tight squeeze for couples - shd be fun tho.
The rooms were small and designed well for the space, it was all in all a very nice little hotel.
The car parking is poor, if you arrive late the staff very badly described a car park that wasn't open. There is one just opposite that you have to sit outside and wait for them to open.
I stayed at nite nite as it was very close to the NIA and train station. The rooms were very different but in a good way
The bathroom door was frosted glass which made me feel very self concious when using the bathroom.
Location and price
Lift out of order, heating in room broken, light under bed broken, TV remote broken, coffee vending machine broken.
How comfortable the bed was!
The resolution on the TV was low
Straight forwards, quick check in & out, clean
No bed-side shelf Noisy revellers at 4am singing Christmas carols in the corridor !
environment friendly hotel.
I think this would have been a fantastic concept if it was cheap, however, £50 for such a small room with no facilities such as shampoo, hair dryer etc is not worth it. A lot of city center hotels such as Holiday inn, ramada do the same sort of price deals for much bigger rooms and better facilities. Very disapointing.
Location clean new contemporary
Room a box no window limited tv channels
Huge Tv, Comfy Bed, Good Location,
Poor Lighting (struggled to do my makeup) No Free Parking (I know of cheaper budget hotels in the city that DO have this) Pillows way too flat, No drinking water in the room (there usually is) Tv didnt work so had to move rooms at 4am.
Modern & contained everything necessary, including cafe.
Found it starnge not to have a window to look out of, and the tv only had 5 channels available.
I liked how well the limited space had been used, everything you could possibly need was there. It was clean, modern and very comfortable. We had the best nights sleep we've had in a while.
The only down side was parking, I didn't like the look of the car park opposite we would of had to use plus the price of it too.
Microscopic rooms, no vital space, internet net not working at all
the staff were really helpful and approachable. the room was really clean.
The TV could do with being a bit smaller, probably half the size. in the instructions it states that the viewing distance should be no closer than 3 times the tv width.
the rooms where so immeasurably small i almost cried
the size of the rooms and no windows
Central for NIA and city centre shops. Comfy bed. Quiet. Breakfast served until quite late in the morning.
Not recommended for claustrophobics! No storage space for clothes so not great for stay of more than a night.
